Strategic Thinker & Storyteller

My version of better tells meaningful stories that have the potential to push people and businesses forward.

I have always been a creative at heart, immersed in the arts of writing, theatre and music from a young age, with no doubt that I would pursue them as a career one day (when I decided which I loved most). It wasn’t until I traded my hometown of Des Moines, Iowa, for the cobblestones of St Andrew’s University in Scotland that my passion for stringing words together became abundantly clear.

Writing is intuitive for me – there is a thrill I get from ironing out a pile of miscellaneous ideas and weaving them into a narrative with a gripping message at its heart. Those are the skills I bring to the forefront of the work I do for my clients; finding out what makes them tick, whittling down to ‘why’ their ideas matter and crafting what needs to be heard (or read).

Despite my knack for organising thoughts, words, and phrases on paper, I am most comfortable in chaos. The last three years living in New Zealand are proof of this fact – especially as I originally intended to only visit for a few weeks. Living across the globe, well attuned to all things outdoors, and dabbling in radio presenting for a bit of fun, I’m a tireless seeker of my next challenge and thrive in environments brimming with opportunities to learn.

That’s ultimately what led me to join the incredible team here at intelligent Ink, consciously crafting meaningful stories that propel people and businesses forward. It’s a real privilege to share in the knowledge and expertise of Intelligent Ink’s diverse range of clients. Seeing their innovation and ingenuity come to life through fantastic storytelling is exactly why I am proud to be an Inker.
